A haiku my heart dictated:
On butterfly wings
I dreamt to see the world; alas!
They fell that night
Once again, your haiku runs deep and raises many thoughts and questions. Are you saying that you can't piggyback on someone else's dreams? Are you saying that to fulfill your dreams you have to struggle like the butterfly emerging from its cocoon? What does "alas" express? Sadness and disappointment or an epiphany? Asiya - what are you going to do with all your beautiful writing?
Dear judy, this is d way people live n hearts break. We dream abt big, beautiful n great things dependant on somebody else's flight... but if n when they fail, our disappointment is beyond words. We shatter with them. Don't u agree dear? :)
I can understand your poem in two ways Asiya, though the title of your blog post gives it away so thanks for that hint. ;) <3
What r d two ways, Elly? Plz share :)
Thanks, cindy! :)
